Services at the Community Residential Center (CRC)
Your stay at the CRC is a period of transition during which there is often a lot to do in a short amount of time. It is therefore important to take advantage of the interventions carried out in the facility to ensure continuity of services during your stay with us.
Reception
Upon your arrival, you will be greeted by a member of staff who will provide you with information about how the CRC operates. The staff member on duty will complete the admission form with you, recording the relevant information for your admission. You will be informed of the rules to follow at the CRC and the conditions of your stay will be reviewed with you. The staff member will take this opportunity to show you around the premises and introduce you to the staff and residents. You will be assigned a bed and given appropriate bedding for the duration of your stay.
Your follow-up
Over the following days, you will be paired with a staff member (clinical counselor) from the center to ensure that your stay is monitored on an individual basis. Together with your clinical counselor and the referral service agent, you will develop a stay plan tailored to your needs and determine the steps to take to achieve your goals. Certain goals related to employment, budget planning, and personal and emotional guidance, for example, will be discussed during these meetings.
